Descenders are designed for smooth descent and positioning of climbers at a specific point and cannot be used for rope ascents. Rope descent devices can also be used as self-locking descent elements and as part of a safety system when lifting small loads or people. They have a lever for adjusting the descent speed. All Assecuro descent devices are equipped with an automatic locking system.
Lifting devices (ascenders and quickdraws) are an integral part of safety equipment for high-altitude and rescue operations. When moving upward, they slide along the rope, allowing free movement, and thanks to chrome-plated steel teeth, they automatically lock under load, preventing the worker from falling. The chest clip (“quickdraws”) is installed between the chest belay point and the working attachment point in
the center at waist level.
Anchor points and slings with carabiners are used to organize safety lines, as well as a manual ascender with a stirrup (foot loop *, which is attached to the lower hole of the ascender).
