Chain hoist: installation and operation features

must be located vertically under the load. Otherwise, the load will swing during lifting, and the load chain will begin to wedge. Structurally, the chain hoist consists of the following main elements and components:
- drive and load chains;
- toothed gears;
- braking device;
- upper and lower suspension with hooks.
A distinctive feature of chain hoists is the ability to increase the lifting height by installing a longer drive chain.

- effective in rooms with low ceiling heights and in cramped conditions;
- for the possibility of horizontal movement of goods, the chain hoist can be easily suspended from trolleys moving along a monorail - this significantly expands the functionality of the devices;
- due to the friction brake, the lifting of the load can be stopped at any time, fixing it at any height;
- a wide range of chain hoists' lifting capacities (0.5-20 tons) allows you to choose lifting equipment for lifting loads of different weights.

2. Lifting height - the ability to equip with a drive chain of various lengths (up to 3 meters for work at car services, up to 12 meters for lifting/lowering loads into wells, pits, holes).
