Buy synthetic and organic ropes, cords, cables: sale of products by the meter with delivery in Poland
Ropes and cords of technical or organic origin are widely used in industrial and sports mountaineering, tourism, household and everyday
life, construction and installation and dismantling work. Some non-hygroscopic, moisture-resistant types of cords and ropes are used in
marine applications (sailing, regattas, yachting, fishing). Ropes with significant breaking strength and resistance to dynamic loads can
be used for towing vehicles, tying down, securing, lifting and moving loads. Inexpensive and low-strength ropes are useful in everyday
life, agriculture and a number of production tasks.
The purpose and scope of cords and ropes depends on the type and physical and mechanical characteristics of the product.
Main types of ropes and cords:
1. Polyamide braided rope (synthetic) is woven from polyamide strands obtained from waste from oil refining. Synthetic polyamide cords,
unlike organic materials, practically do not absorb moisture (no more than 3%), have constant tensile strength, high strength and
resistance to decay, bacterial formation, UV and IR radiation. The product has a core around which polyamide strands are woven. The color
of the braided cord is white, less often gray or other colors. Polyamide cord is easier to tie into knots and install in rollers. The
material has spring properties.
2. Braided polypropylene rope (synthetic) is a non-hygroscopic product with a lower density than water - 0.91 g/cm, with electrical
insulating properties and high buoyancy. These characteristics largely determine the scope of the cord: maritime business and everything
related to it. Also, polypropylene rope can be found on a construction site, in the household and at home. Polypropylene cord is highly
resistant to aggressive environments and ultraviolet radiation. The material practically does not absorb water. The disadvantage of such
cords is their low melting point (165°C) and stretching up to 20% of the original length when subjected to the maximum allowable load.
3. Twisted jute rope (organic) is an environmentally friendly, flexible product consisting of three strands of jute and resistant to
temperature and UV rays. Jute fibers are bonded with a natural polymer lignin, which prevents water from penetrating the fibers. The
interfiber space absorbs water quickly and dries just as quickly without changing the tensile characteristics of the product. The organic
cord is antistatic, meaning it does not accumulate electricity. Due to its low tensile strength, jute rope is not suitable for lifting
loads, mountaineering and other demanding tasks.
4. Twisted polyamide rope (synthetic) is a product consisting of 3 strands of polyamide fiber, which has a number of advantages: high
tensile characteristics, compared to organic cords, resistance to dynamic jerking, rotting, exposure to salt water and alkalis. These
features make it possible to use nylon cord in shipping, for tying down and lifting loads, towing cars and other vehicles. Today, this
rope is often used to make handicrafts, decorative elements, decorate building interiors, etc. The material is not antistatic, which
should be taken into account when using polyamide rope.
