Electric traction winch
An electric traction winch is a lifting and traction unit for moving loads during construction, repair, installation and other works. The winch can be used as a stationary equipment or in combination with more complex lifting systems.
The main components of the traction winch:
- electric motor;
- gearbox
- rope drum;
- connecting couplings;
- braking device;
- starting equipment;
- welded frame (bed).
The electric traction winch is mounted on a previously designed and geodetically verified platform with a foundation. Mounting holes are drilled around the perimeter of the welded frame, through which the device is attached to the platform using anchor bolts. The winch installation site must be protected from direct exposure to precipitation and solar radiation, and have free access to the main components of the winch for maintenance and repair.
