The use of American clamps with an enlarged gape by ABLE is regulated by the requirements of EN 1677 and EN 13155. They are designed for lifting bundles of sheet steel and long products (channels and beams). The clamping mechanism is made of alloy steel, which ensures reliable grip of the gripper with the load being lifted and a long service life. Due to the expanded gape, the grippers can work with a wider range of loads in terms of thickness.
