This device is a clamp for climbing a rope under the right (left) hand. The ergonomic rubber-covered handle allows you to comfortably hold the clamp even when wearing gloves.
The special design of the cam with 3 rows of teeth prevents the accumulation of dirt, and a sufficiently large hole in the handle ensures free rotation of any carabiner.
Also, the cam is equipped with a special patented system for releasing the clamp when resting on a knot or, if necessary, lowering the device lower without removing it from the rope.
A double hole in the upper part of the clamp allows the carabiner to snap in freely to prevent spontaneous slipping of the device when the rope is kinked (at a break) or on icy and wet ropes (the upwardly moving carabiner, together with the handled rope clamp for rope ascents, cleans frozen dirt and snow better).

The special design of the cam makes it easy to move the clamp down the rope without pushing it out of the rope. To do this, lightly press the cam release lever, but do not open it completely.
In this case, the clamp will be lowered down the rope without breaking contact with the rope and, accordingly, without compromising safety.
