Double wire rope lanyard with shock absorder (K20/2K55) TAKELAG

The online store “Takelag System” offers to purchase a steel rope sling double (K20/2K55) TAKELAG. These slings are manufactured in accordance with the profile standard EN 358, 354 and 355.

The double lanyard with shock absorber is designed to insure the installer against falling when moving along ladders, supports, along metal structures, etc. The complete set with two large connectors allows you to quickly and alternately change the attachment points while wearing work gloves. 
All connecters are equipped with a double safety lock against unauthorized opening, and the hook latch closes automatically, which adds to the safety of use. 
This type of sling ensures a smooth stop of the workers fall when falling from a support. The component that dampens the impact load to a safe 6 kN is a textile shock absorber that gradually breaks and elongates during the fall.
That is why the minimum height from the sling attachment to the surface should not be less than 6 meters. An additional restriction on the use of this sling is the presence of any obstacles on the way of a possible fall from 
the support to the nearest surface. The double wire rope lanyard is used in combination with a safety harness or safety belts equipped with pectoral or dorsal anchor points for attaching fall protection equipment.
