Twisted rope lanyard with shock absorber (K20/K55) TAKELAG

The online store “Takelag System” offers to purchase a twisted rope lanyard with shock absorber (K20/K55) TAKELAG. These lanyard are manufactured in accordance with the profile standard EN 355.

The shock-absorbing lanyard is designed to insure the installer in case of a fall and allows you to safely work on ladders, roofs, galleries and flat surfaces with an inclination of up to 45°, equipped with lifelines and other fixed fall arrest systems. The large carabiner allows for unrestricted work with work gloves. All carabiners are equipped with a safety lock against unauthorized opening, and the hook latch closes automatically, which adds to the safety of use. This type of sling provides a smooth stop of the worker's fall when he/she is pulled off the support. The component that dampens the impact load to a safe 6 kN is a textile shock absorber that gradually breaks and elongates during the fall. That is why the minimum height from the sling attachment to the surface should not be less than 6 meters. An additional restriction on the use of this sling is the presence of any obstacles on the way of a possible fall from the support to the nearest surface. Rope sling with shock absorber is used in combination with safety harness SH-1, SH-2, SH-3 belts equipped with pectoral or dorsal anchor points for attaching fall protection equipment.

The lanyard can be damaged by open flames, sparks, high ambient temperatures and sharp edges of metal structures.
For work under the influence of the above risks, use wire rope lanyard with shock absorber. 

For the commissioning of all PPE from TM TAKELAG, an Acceptance Test Report is provided free of charge.
