The online store “Takelag System” offers to purchase a stainless fork swage terminal AISI316.
Cable fittings are made of AISI 316 stainless steel containing up to 2.5% molybdenum, which makes the products highly resistant to corrosion and critical temperatures of exposure to chemically active substances.
The swage terminals may only be used to crimp stainless steel ropes or galvanized ropes with a metal core. This applies to ropes of 7x7, 7x19, 1x19 designs. However, it is allowed to use ropes with a fiber core (6x7, 6x19) for decorating the scenery.
Ropes, cords, cables made of synthetics are not recommended to be crimped!
