3. Open and closed poured sockets - used for the manufacture of cables used to fasten the masts of sailing ships, suspension bridges, antennas, lighting and communication masts. Socket with the installed cable end is filled with a zinc solution. The strength of this connection is equal to the breaking force of the rope itself.
4. Heavy malleable thimbles DIN 3091 are teardrop-shaped steel products with a hole and a stream at the end, used as wire rope extensions and shackle spacers for construction jib cranes, fasteners for ships, cable systems for suspension bridges, sports complexes and other large-scale construction structures with long spans. If necessary, the diameter of the thimble's mounting hole can be increased by boring or decreased by installing a socket.
