Mobile platforms (“tanks”, “trolleys”, “skates”) of the RSO type of the ABLE trademark (made in the USA) are used together with steering platforms to move large structures, heavy industrial machinery and technological equipment during installation and dismantling work in workshops.
ABLE roller scates do not have a swivel mechanism, so they are installed after the steering platforms as additional points for moving large loads. ABLE roller scates do not require periodic maintenance. Installation and positioning of the cargo on the platform is carried out using a special roller crowbar and a hydraulic jack.
Fixed roller scate are equipped with nylon or polyurethane wheels that do not damage the concrete floor, have a smooth ride and low rolling resistance. The main requirement for the proper functioning of the platforms is a flat and solid floor. Bumps and potholes, abrasive and dirt can significantly damage the coating of the platform wheels and impede the process of moving cargo. It is recommended to prepare the floor surface in advance for moving bulky goods on roller platforms.
