These steel ropes (cables) without external lubrication are load-bearing elements used for the formation of braces, masts and the manufacture of towing equipment. Structurally, a double stranded steel rope of the 6x7 construction consists of a metal core and six identical strands with linear wire contact. The rope is additionally protected by a zinc plating.
