Turnbuckles, or as they are also called “screw ties”, are easy-to-use and inexpensive rigging devices used to tension and adjust the length of stretch marks when installing lighting masts, advertising signs, decorations, etc. 
Screw ties are not designed for heavy loads, so the use of these types of turnbuckles during lifting operations and subjecting them to dynamic loads is not recommended. Structurally, screw ties consist of two bolts with a knurled thread that are screwed into the body.
The turnbuckle can be adjusted in length by scrolling the body in the desired direction. The product is made of carbon steel with a protective galvanized coating and differs in load capacity and end element design: hook-hook, hook-eye, eye-eye.
