Thanks to the zinc plated coating, ropes of this type are additionally protected against corrosion, adverse weather factors, aggressive environments, and chemicals. This significantly expands the scope of use of zinc-plated wire ropes and extends the service life. They have a 1x19 (1+6+12) construction and a metal core. Zinc-plated wire ropes according to DIN 3053 are used for repair and installation work, in construction, in the design of private houses, and in lifting equipment where conventional steel ropes cannot cope with the functions assigned to them.
